Expanding Access to Child & Youth Behavioral Health Resources for California Communities

NAC + CYBHI Partnership

As part of PHIL’s work through the Northern ACEs Collaborative (NAC) we are excited to partner with California’s Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), to launch a joint effort to expand the reach of critical resources for families, social service providers, and those in schools and related spaces working directly with youth.

This partnership between NAC and CYBHI, a multiyear, multi-billion-dollar effort focused on improving the behavioral health and well-being of children, youth, and families, will expand CYBHI’s reach and impact while also strengthening NAC’s existing cross-sector partnerships and providing an opportunity to build new ones.

Below, learn more about the partnership, sign up for emailed updates from NAC, and explore CYBHI’s extensive library of tools & resources. Together, we can support rural Northern California champions to improve the health of the communities they serve.

Upcoming Events & Resources

Join the Population Health Innovation Lab (PHIL) and it’s Northern ACEs Collaborative (NAC) on June 3 for a special event highlighting a new regional effort to expand access to vital behavioral health resources for children, youth, and their families across Northern California.

In partnership with California’s Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI), this event will mark the official launch of a new initiative aimed at increasing access to behavioral health services for families, educators, social service providers, and others working directly with young people. CYBHI was created with, for, and by children, youth, and families, and brings care to where youth already are—in schools, communities, and online.

During our event we’ll be joined by resource partner representatives from BrightLife KidsCal-MapMirror app, Open DoorsSafe Spaces, and Soluna app whom will share more about what they currently have available for children, youth, parents, and their families.

Looking for tools to help support children, youth, and families right now? Explore the CYBHI library of free digital resources to help bring behavioral health services and supports to the spaces where their lives are lived, including online.
