Meeting Design and Facilitation
PHIL brings groups and communities together, virtually or in-person, to engage in meaningful conversations. Our team has expertise in teaching others the “Art of Hosting,” as well as designing and leading meetings for small and large groups.
Meeting/Convening Design & Facilitation
PHIL has expertise in meeting design and facilitation for small or large groups and short- or long-term change processes. We design & facilitate experiences that enable groups to increase their capacity to address complex challenges using a wide range of frameworks and practices to create participatory leadership experiences. We will spend time with you to hear what is most needed, co-create a strategic approach that builds skills, and address the most pressing challenges you are seeking to address.
Virtual or in-person options available.
Art of Hosting Training
The Art of Hosting and Harvesting Conversations that Matter (AoH) training focuses on participatory leadership methodologies that teach users how to gather, lead, and host meaningful conversations.
The AoH training teaches participants:
- How to design, host, and harvest small- or large-scale conversations
- Interactive processes that help to move beyond imbalanced power dynamics and conflict, to heal relationships and create shared commitment to wiser action (like appreciative inquiry, World Cafe, and Open Space)
- How to apply these processes in one’s work and communities
Virtual or in-person options available. The virtual training option would consist of a series of up to six, 3- hour virtual training sessions over the course of 6 to 12 weeks. In-person facilitation is estimated at a 3-day training event.
