Cassandra Mohan, MSPH

Get to know Cassandra:
Cassandra joined PHIL in 2024. She works with the MERLIN team to provide epidemiologic expertise on a wide range of community health evaluation and technical assistance projects. When she’s not diving into research, you can find Cassandra practicing yoga, catching a Broadway musical, or exploring Brooklyn with her dog, Aioli.

Experience:
Cassandra earned her bachelors degree in biology from the University of Chicago and graduated with an MSPH in epidemiology from Emory University. She brings a wealth of public health experience from her time working at CDC, New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, and New York State Department of Health. Cassandra has a passion for infectious disease epidemiology, data visualization, and innovative public health solutions. Cassandra also brings her experience as a former science educator, and she enjoys creating and leading collaborative learning activities for public health professionals as well.
