Get to know Katie:
Katie joined PHIL in 2022 to provide general communications and administrative support for PHIL. Currently, she collaborates with cross-PHIL teams to ensure consistency in processes and messaging. When Katie is not working, she is either baking a new recipe or going to the many museums that D.C. has to offer.

Experience:
Before joining the PHIL team, Katie served as the Health Communications Intern at the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, in the Bioterrorism and Public Health Preparedness Program. Here, she assisted with the redesign of the Health Information Portal website, ensuring seamless content migration, assessing usability, and facilitating the enrollment of new users. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Temple University in May 2022, and graduated with her Master of Public Health from the George Washington University Milken School of Public Health in May 2024.
