Get to know Cassandra:
Cassandra joined PHIL in 2024. She works with the PHIL Collective team to plan and implement engaging and collaborative workshops and events. When she’s not diving into education and training activities, you can find Cassandra practicing yoga, catching a Broadway musical, or exploring Brooklyn with her dog, Aioli.
Experience:
Cassandra earned her bachelors degree in biology from the University of Chicago and graduated with an MSPH in epidemiology from Emory University. Before joining the Population Health Innovation Lab, Cassandra worked in infectious disease epidemiology at New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, New York State Department of Health, and CDC. Cassandra also brings her experience as a former science educator, and she has a passion for creating and leading impactful learning activities for public health partners.
